Homosexuálové, kteří přežili vyhlazovací snahy nacistů, se narozdíl od ostatních postižených sociálních skupin nedočkali žádného odškodnění. Ačkoliv došlo v NDR (a následně i v SRN) k dekriminalizaci homosexuality „už“ koncem 60. let, některé anti-homosexuální zákony zavedené hitlerovským režimem zůstaly formálně platné až do roku 1994! Po válce se nadále využívaly seznamy homosexuálů shromážděné nacisty a někteří postižení nadále zůstali ve vězení. Tzv.“zákony proti sodomii“ zůstaly tedy v SRN v platnosti (byť v méně restriktivní formě) a oficiální omluva přišla ze strany německých úřadů až v roce 2002.
První systematické bádání nad formami a rozsahem gay holocaustu se objevily na Západě až začátkem 70. let. Tento výzkum však mnohde nenašel politického pochopení. Židovské organizace hleděly na teorie o gayích coby samostatně perzekuované sociální skupině s nevolí. Později nenašel tento trend podporu ani v USA u nastupující Reaganovy administrativy. Navíc, věcné závěry výzkumů byly zkreslovány medializací nového problému zvaného AIDS. Téma legitimizace gay holocaustu se politizovalo a na půdě různých věhlasných institucí se vedly polemiky o definici slova „genocida“. Ellie Wiesel dokonce oponoval slovy: „Zaměřit se na jiné postižené skupiny může v této souvislosti znevážit hrůzu židovského holocaustu.“2 Přesto se během 70. let postupně etabloval pojem „gay holocaustu“ a obhájci tohoto termínu odhalovali a systematizovali výše uvedená data. Přispěl k tomu zejména výzkum pánů Heinze Hegera, Guntera Grau a Richarda Planta3. Oficiálně však dodnes není termín „holocaustu“ a „genocidy“ homosexuálů uznáván všemi, například OSN explicitně definuje genocidu jako jev determinovaný faktory „národními, rasovými, etnickými či náboženskými“. Soudobý diskurs pak poněkud sklouzává do polemik o politické korektnosti, o definicích zmiňované genocidy, o deklaracích, formulacích, slovních půtkách. Což může leckomu připomínat jalové debaty o tom, zda homosexualita je či není nemoc. Jako by tento faktor snižoval hodnotu boje proti homofobii či samu důstojnost homosexuálů.
Faktem tedy zůstává, že otázky odškodnění a další konkrétní nápravné kroky toho, co se stalo (ať už se světové společenství shodne na jednotné definici či nikoliv) zůstávají dodnes problematickou a systémově nedořešenou otázkou.

Slaanesh was only secondary interested in mortals, his primary goal was to gain upper hand over the Other Three Ruinous Powers.
Thus she forged eternal pact between herself and the Dark Father of the Cytharai. Together the Elven Witch and Slaaneshi Daemons could trick even insane pawns of Tzeentch. It is her ultimate goal to let Druchii claim whole world in the name of Slaanesh, Eret Khial and their children. Even then she wont stop. Her son Malekith would raise his people and invade the realms of other Chaos Gods and change the whole Universe forever. It is through the Hag Sorceress that the weakest of the Fourth has greates influence on her world. Yet she always has upper hand and once she claims the secrets of the Old Ones from the wretched Slaan, she will take her rightful place among the gods!
